Delegate Wayne Norman Receives Award from Conservative Business Group

Maryland Business for Responsive Government (MBRG) awarded Delegate Wayne Norman (R-District 35A/Harford) its John Shaw Award for "leadership on business issues in Maryland."

In a statement, MBRG Co-Chair Ellen Sauerbrey said that "Wayne Norman is a key voice in Annapolis on the issues effecting business. As a businessman himself, he has the experience and skills necessary to well represent us in the House of Delegates."

MBRG selected Delegate Norman based on his strong voting record on legislation impacting businesses and private sector jobs in Maryland.

Said Delegate Norman, "businesses are the true job creators and the lifeblood of the economy, not government. Government can do more – and must do more – to create a better business environment through fiscal discipline, lower taxes and the elimination of unnecessary bureaucratic 'red tape'."
